Changed the logic that allows sharing the submission form
(and how it identifies events). There was a bug from it
using the name rather than event id. The bug should now be
resolved.
Added the inclusion of provinces for events located in
Canada. For some reason, I'd left this out previously. This
should help to see where events are located, but will more
importantly allow searching for events by province (in
addition to city, country, and continent). This can be used
to filter open calls as well as when viewing events/projects
on the
Map
.
Adjusted filters to ensure that sorting by country first
shows countries with open calls, followed by countries with
rolling calls, followed by countries without any (active)
calls. To view the full list of events by country without
open calls affecting the order, use the
Archive
page.
Added icons for the 'Compensation' section. Also added hover
state to allow viewers to see more details when they want to
rather than having a giant (narrow) column of text around
the budget.
Added Changelog page — long overdue and wanted to keep track
of the little changes that I make to the site (aside from
Github, as the repo is currently private)
Added new filter option for "Modified" to show most recently
(and oldest) updated projects/calls
Added ability to see what was posted on IG and what's
planned.
**Admin only**
Updated the submission form. Allowed sending links to the
form (prefilled) for verification by organizers and to
retain a draft state prior to being posted on the site.
Resolved issue where the acceptance checkboxes were being
auto-checked when the page loaded on sent forms.
Updated the weekly recap formatting to ensure that all
events are shown. After my previous date update (to include
previous years at times when the calls overlap 2 years), I
had realized that any projects were automatically being
hidden as soon as they no longer had an active call. I still
want to show them for the duration of the week, so now
that's resolved.
Added more sort options including the ability to sort by
recently modified. I don't have data for when something was
added to the database, though I should probably add this at
some point. Also not sure quite how useful the recently
modified filter is as I update events all the time and that
doesn't necessarily mean that there's a new call or even
event dates.
Added an option to view inactive (archived) events on the
map. Similar for one-off projects, which were previously not
viewable as I didn't want to flood the map. I felt that it
was important to include the ability to view them, however,
to show where projects have been held. It seems that many
don't realize that they've had public art projects near them
and as someone with a large focus on the archival aspects of
history, I wanted to do what I could to preserve this
portion.
